Base Brisbane Embassy Hostel Guest Reviews
Right in the middle of the CBD. Clean rooms and good facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reception opens 7am-midnight, so you can get help pretty much whenever you want. The only downside was that it get's a bit noisy at night since there's a pub downstairs. But shouldn't be a problem if you're tired enough to sleep.

I think this is a very good and well located basic hotel if luxury is not your number one priority. The only thing I would say against it is that the communal toilets and showers are very dorm like and not very appealing although cleaned regularly. The staff are very polite and obliging and the beds are comfortable and clean.

I enjoyed the 3 nights I stayed in this place. Comfy bed, clean sheets, clean bathroom (though the shower was an odd single, very powerful jet) friendly helpful staff and a good mix of people staying too. The air con in the bedroom was maybe a little high as i had goosebumps from it in the middle of the night. Not the most comfortable when trying to sleep! But other than that i was very pleased and met some cool people.
