Located on Jorge Basadre Avenue, a residential area in the heart of San Isidro, Basadre Suites Boutique Hotel Lima is only a few blocks from Promperu, as well as the excellent restaurants. All of this is in complete harmony with the nature of its parks and very near to the impressive archaeological reserve Huaca Huallamarca.

Very nice hotel in San Isodro area of Lima. About 15 US dollars from the airport. Its a clean, safe and comfortable place. Ideal for the first night and within walking distance of Miraflores for cheaper hotels and hostels.

Rooms towards street are noisy, but otherwise the hotel is good choice in Lima. The hotel can arrange a taxi to take sightseeing in Lima with poorly English speaking, but otherwise friendly and good driver.

We stayed in 3 different hotels in Lima, each time in a different suburb, and this was by far the best choice of the 3. It was very comfortable, nicely decorated and came with very helpful English speaking staff. We liked the free airport pick-up service as well. While there were a few small things that could have been improved, like the towel rail that came off the wall with one small touch and the cupboards full of dust (like, years' worth of dust), overall it was certainly much more pleasant a stay than many others we experienced in Peru. This would certainly be our choice for a quiet stay in Lima, a city which we found to be overpriced and substandard in terms of quality and character.
