Barcelo Riviera Maya All Inclusive Complex Guest Reviews
For me the SCUBA diving was the most important. I'm fully satisfied. Entertainment, food, bars, pools, gym and tennis are excellent. Huge, beautiful beaches with crystal clear water, kayaks, boats, snorkeling equipment - all free in my all inclusive package. I will definitely do it again next year.

We very much enjoyed Barcelo Maya Beach hotel (low end of the five hotels onsite) on our 7-night stay. Beaches are best at south end (Beach and Beach Caribe). Staff is very friendly and attentive. Only glitch was getting the room upgrade advertised on the travel site (took some effort and persistence). Our package did not include transfers from/to airport so get this if you can ($55-75 each way)..

A fantastic place to vacation. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or accomodating. Excellent food and amenities.

This is our FAVORITE resort. Big enough grounds that you dont have to fight for beach chairs. We were booked for the Caribe side but was upgraded to the Colonial when we arrived. (Our 5th stay here) Although the Colonial side is VERY NICE, we really do prefer the Caribe side. A little smaller and the beach/swimming area is so much better. Not so much coral. We are not foo-foo people and at the Colonial side, we felt we had to DRESS every night we went to the buffet for supper. We are on vacation and just want to wear our shorts and T's!

A good (however a bit rocky) beach with a good snorkeling. You can rent snorkel equipment there for free. Awesome buffets! But mediocre restaraunts (same food as in buffets but you spend much more time in restaraunts). Mediocre evening shows comparing to other othels where I've stayed. All hotels there share same territory and same facilities (except buffets and restaraunts) but please note that buffets in Maya Beach/Caribe are worse than buffets in Maya Colonial/Tropical.
