Location
The Barcelo Margaritas is centrally located within the resort of Playa del Ingles, close to the multitude of bars and restaurants, including the Hard Rock Cafe within easy walking distance. The main Playa del Ingles beach is a five-minute walk away with a wide range of water sports.
Rooms
The hotel has a range of rooms available for different tastes and needs, ranging from luxury pool view apartments to double family rooms. Each has satellite TV, air-conditioning and a mini-bar.
Restaurant
The Barcelo Margaritas has a buffet restaurant, two grills and four bars within its tropical garden complex. Themed dinners are held twice-weekly and afternoon tea and cakes are available every afternoon.

We have very good All Inclusive holiday there. Free bus to the beach and good evening program.

Hotel and staff were good. the location of the hotel was not so good as it is away from the beach. although must say there is a regular free shuttle service both to maspalomas and playa del ingles beach. food was okay as it was 80% repeat everyday. main swimming pool has little sun during the day. but the one located near the appartments was very good but often difficult to find a bed if you went late.

Very nice hotel with all the necessary facilities. Very nice, clean and well kept environment around the pool areas with palm trees, grass lawn and a lot of flowers. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet with a large variety of dishes, both meat, fish and vegetarian. Far better food than in most of the restaurants in the city. Very friendly service all around the hotel, both in the reception, the restaurant, the bars, room cleaning etc. I spent one week at the hotel and will definitely come back. :-)

We stayed at the Barcelo Margaritas on an all inclusive basis for just over a week at Christmas. The food here is excellent and I mean really good quality and congratulations should go to the chefs. Apart from that this really does not warrant a 4* hotel. If you take the all inclusive option be prepared to self serve yourself during the day, coffee, beer etc. I have never stayed in a 4* hotel (or 3* for that matter) where all inclusive drinks are not served by staff at the bar. It makes it feel cheap and because of this I wouldn't reccommend it if you are looking for a 4* holiday. The place is clean and tidy but to be honest we wouldn't go back here.
