We got a great deal for the hotel and flight so we jumped on it for our honeymoon. The hotel is average but beautiful. The pool was great and you were right on the beach. The buffet was decent as they tried to make an effort to change the theme each night. We went on a few excursions that were easily booked at the hotel. As honeymooners though, they didn't really offer any upgrades and there were a lot of children so it seems like more of a family resort. It was good for some time away but not necessarily for your honeymoon.

This was our second time at a barcelo resort, though it was alot smaller than the one in Riviera Maya, it was definitely worth it...its inexpensive, has great food, and a friendly staff. Very clean, and has great shows...the beach part is mainly for surfers, so we spent most of our time by the pool

It was an all inclusive stay with the staff willing to assist. The staff was excellent, but sometimes there was a language barrier. Although it is expected. Other than that it was beautiful, clean, plenty of food and beer, and a great rock break out front!
