The pricing of the rooms and meals is reasonable, but drinks are expensive. The coffee is both expensive and bad.

First of all you definitely need to rent a car in order to see the surroundings. The hotel is 10 minutes to Sidi Bou Said, 30 minutes to Tunis center by car. It's relatively clean compared to the other hotels I stayed at in Tunisia. You have to pay for the "Thalassa" facilities of the hotel, even for the "hammam". Getting used to "all inclusive" concept of the hotels in my native country Turkey, it's kind of disappointing to be charged for every service. The pictures of the Hotel that you could find on the internet are a little bit overpromising about what you will get actually. Not a very charming place.
