Barcelo Atenea Mar Hotel Barcelona Guest Reviews
Location was a 10-15 minute walk to a subway stop. Also- hop-no - hop-off bus had a stop almost in front of the hotel. Neighborhood had many small and good, if unpretentious, restaurants. My wife and I were very happy with location and hotel.

This was a very friendly hotel. The rooms were bright and spacious.The check in service was quick and the staff on the reception desk were most helpful.The food on the set evening menu was very good and very reasonably priced.The tour bus stopped just along the road and also a 41 bus which will take you to the Airobus for transport to the airport.

It was a great and very clean hotel, close to the beach in a quiet place but also 10 minutes from the centre of barcelona. Great place to live!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. However... this hotel is located nowhere near the center of Barcelona. The view of the ocean is great, but you have to cross a 5 lane highway via a footbridge to get to the beach. The metro is about a 15 minute walk away. They were doing repairs on that particular line while we were there, so we had to walk 15 minutes and then get bussed to another location. It was a big pain!

There was no iron and ironing board available so we had to ask reception but the service from the staff was really good and they were always willing to help.
