Bridgetown Climate
Bridgetown is a humid tropical city, with a wet season that spans June to January, providing more than half of the annual 128 cm of rain. Temperatures are hot throughout the year with highs of 28-31°C and lows around 21-23°C.
Getting There & Around
The bus terminal in Bridgetown services all of Barbados with cheap transportation to Sir Grantley Adams International Airport and most of the main tourist attractions. The town is the starting point for all of the island's major highways, including the ABC Highway and Highway 7.
Buses are the main source of public transportation, but route taxis are another cheap mode available to travellers who do not drive. You can walk to most attractions from the central bus terminal.
