The Banana Fan Sea Resort is located at the south end of Chaweng Beach, yet not too far away from the famous shopping, entertainment and nightlife areas.

Excellent location right on the beach, well-appointed and maintained rooms. Staff very friendly. Very pleasant garden setting. On-premises Thai massage available.

The grounds at the Bannan Fan Sea Samui are beautiful, very nice and well maintained, the pool area and beach are very nice and clean (proabably one on the nicer ones), the buffet breakfast at the resturant was great (over looking the beach). The location is pretty good, about a 5/10 min. walk to the central party area. The rooms are very clean with A/C and cable but rather plain (I think this is an older property), the walls are pretty thin so a little noisy at time and the front desk staff was very nice and friendly (though hard to comuicate with at times). I enjoyed my stay at the Banana Fan Sea Samui very much other than minor issues with the room which are minor because I was not there that much anyway. Also, the pictures on the website do not do the facility justice.

We didn''t know what to expect after our disappointing previous hotel. Banana Fan was a great surprise! The rooms were lovely and the staff treated us like princesses. Very central to shops, beach and spas. I will be recommending to friends.

The hotel is nicely situated in the middle of Chewang beach; the beachfront and water were particularly appealing to me because the water was roped off by safety balloons. I had all my meals at the hotel because I liked the Thai menu that was offered.

The grounds and reception area are very pretty. The bungalows are very close together but the gardens help it not seem over crowded. The resort offers total solitude from the busy street behind it. The first time we stayed there we were in one of the rooms at the back but there was no noise of traffic. The standard and deluxe rooms are not much different from a hotel room at home so if your looking for a traditional thai bunglow it may not be for you. The rooms are very clean although we did have a problem with ants in the first room we stayed in. The beach in front of the hotel is keep really clean and the water is lovely. The also provided lots of sunbeds and towels on the beach and around the pool. The staff were friendly and so helpful. We ended up staying here a second time during our visit to the islands.
