Location
Baiyoke Hotel is located in the heart of the city on Rajprarop Road. COULD NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE HOTEL TO ARRANGE EARLY CHECKIN LATE CHECK OUT SO DID NOT GET THE ROOM I BOOKED. WAITING FOR LIFT TO GO UP OR DOWN WAS TIME CONSUMING DUE TO IT BEING FULL DURING THE PEAK HOURS.

I used this hotel for last trip to Thailand, as i was always going in and out of bkk, i used the same hotel so i could leave some luggage between trips. The 1st stay was on the 49th floor, room smelt of sewage and toilet required more than one flush to completely clear, the air con was set on cold and though i tried to turn it down, it remained cold. Second stay was only 1 night, they upgraded the room do i was on the 57th floor, room was much better, didn't smell but air con still didn't turn down. On my 3rd stay i was greeted downstairs by the manager who informed me that the hotel was full and that there was no room for me. They offered a room in a different hotel just down the road and i assumed it was of equivalent standard. I was very wrong, the room was dirty, wall papers peeling, mould on wall and eat droppings, i called back to say i couldn't stay here but they keep telling me there was no room, after contacting the agent and about 1 hr later, they offered a different room for the night and transfer back to original hotel. They even gave complimentary breakfast. Overall the hotel is ok to stay in and u get what you pay for, location is great for shopping but if you can spend a little more, go for a better one.

Strategic location. The room is clean and comfortable. Very convenient as the hotel provides shuttle bus to the sky train. Shopping is enjoyable too.
