COULD NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE HOTEL TO ARRANGE EARLY CHECKIN LATE CHECK OUT SO DID NOT GET THE ROOM I BOOKED. WAITING FOR LIFT TO GO UP OR DOWN WAS TIME CONSUMING DUE TO IT BEING FULL DURING THE PEAK HOURS.

I used this hotel for last trip to Thailand, as i was always going in and out of bkk, i used the same hotel so i could leave some luggage between trips. The 1st stay was on the 49th floor, room smelt of sewage and toilet required more than one flush to completely clear, the air con was set on cold and though i tried to turn it down, it remained cold. Second stay was only 1 night, they upgraded the room do i was on the 57th floor, room was much better, didn't smell but air con still didn't turn down. On my 3rd stay i was greeted downstairs by the manager who informed me that the hotel was full and that there was no room for me. They offered a room in a different hotel just down the road and i assumed it was of equivalent standard. I was very wrong, the room was dirty, wall papers peeling, mould on wall and eat droppings, i called back to say i couldn't stay here but they keep telling me there was no room, after contacting the agent and about 1 hr later, they offered a different room for the night and transfer back to original hotel. They even gave complimentary breakfast. Overall the hotel is ok to stay in and u get what you pay for, location is great for shopping but if you can spend a little more, go for a better one.

Strategic location. The room is clean and comfortable. Very convenient as the hotel provides shuttle bus to the sky train. Shopping is enjoyable too.

This hotel is old and out of date and in need of a reno. The worst this is waiting for the lifts and when one comes it is already full, cant walk down the fire stairs as the lobby is on level 18. The room was not clean, and smelt. Lucky our stay was only a few days. when we arrived, we were told the bags will be up in 15 mins, we waited 1 hour before they came up then the dude was hanging around for a tip. we should have got the bags from the lobby. There is not minibar, the internet cost an extra $400 baht a day. You are best off staying elsewhere

Great room, clean, elevator wait time relatively short, despite being the high season and a lot of ppl are using it. Restaurant was a big letdown, food was ok taste wise, but the service staff left a lot to be desired, little or no english.

staff at hotel not helpful or friendly. did not even see any staff smile at my 3 days there. request for any help, either not helpful or gave wrong info. for example, we were directed to the a very far away healthland spa when we ask for the contact and location of the nearest 1. they even wanted to charge 10 for a simple phone call when we requested them to help us make a booking. i have never had this at any hotel in all the places i stayed before. will not stay there again.

everything is good. value for money. you can take a sky train straight from the airport and to the hotel. BUT you will need to walk about 100meters to the hotel. (in which if you are gonna be dragging a luggage along uneven path.. narrow path. and up and down the pathment.) other than tat you will be fine. if not you can check with the hotel. they have an hourly ferry bus thru and fro. love the high floors. great view. =]] food is every where. no worries abut tat. platinum whole sale market is a straight show walk thru the shophouses. at night.there will be setting up stalls just below the hotel.

Need to wait for quite long during check in. The staff not that friendly. Need to wait quite a while for the lifts. Price compared to Amari and Novotel is cheaper but next trip most prob will not choose this hotel again. Overall location is good, near to alot of shopping places and easily to find places to eat and massage.

we stayed in this hotel 3 nights and it was really bad time. It looks impressive and we thought staying in the tallest building in Thailand would be fun but it has turned out to be disaster. the room was on 63rd floor..the carpets had stains on and the sofa and chair was full of sweat stain..looked very old prob same since 1970's..lol in the bathroom there was cockrouches crawling everywhere and the view from the window was onto horrible looking area plus the smog is so bad you can hardly see anything anyway..we have seen better areas in bangkok by the river and you should look for hotel there as baiyoke sky area is just a tip..

the location was very good since it was just a train ride from the airport . we stayed for 2 nights but our room was not cleaned on the second day, we even have to call housekeeping to give us the complimentary water otherwise they wil not give it. shopping beside it was also great since there are a lot of wholesale bargains.
