Bahia Resort Hotel San Diego Guest Reviews
Uneventful experience which was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Great location, but the room was not clean - had to request housekeeping vaccum as they did not automatically with the daily room cleaning - the terracotta floors were filthy - my feet turned black walking barefoot :( - requested add'l glasses and coffee mugs which never came so we hand washed the ones we used. Also, there is not thermostat so the heat is either on or off - woke up in the middle of the night freezing, turned on the heat which is very loud. The walls are very thin as well - we could hear the children crying and carrying on as well.

Room-old & funny old smell-Very nice otherwise. Service-Just doing the minimum. Not rude, however not real friendly or going the extra mile here. Our room was bay view towers facing seaworld. EXCELLENT balcony with sunrise view and it was beautiful. EXCELLENT view of fireworks from seaworld. VERY NOISY. Rowers every morning 6am in bay shouting. Slamming doors all nite in rooms, cars going by, airplanes flying over, dump trucks under window on beach all morning. Restraunt was old smelly too. Service..eh. food over priced. EXCELLENT location to Bellmont park! Eat there. EXCELLENT pool & Jacuzzi. Bahia Bell ferry was sooo cool and free! If the prices of this hotel were cheaper it would be a great deal. However the prices were too high for quality of establishment. You apparently need a car if you want a room not by the main office and noise because no one is going to offer you another means to get your luggage over there or any suggestions otherwise. Room was nice size and decor wasnt bad, old not bad. Maintenance was there in 5 min. to fix our tv that just needed a loose plug put in. Thanks dude. Basic cleaning and comfort ok but that extra attention to detail was not there. dirt in grout of floor, not fitted sheets on beds. old beds not real compfy. Lower prices and you would get what you pay for. Like I said no extra niceness, service. I would stay there again if the prices were reduced to under a eighty $$ per nite.

We had a great stay at The Bahia. Our room was a bay view, which was great. The hotel is a little older but they are in the process of upgrading the rooms. The construction didn't bother us at all. The location was great for us to be in Mission Beach. It's a great deal and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was in a great location. It is close to Mission Beach and within 10-15 minutes of almost everything. It was very quiet and everyone was friendly.
