Location
Baan Taling Ngam Resort and Spa is located on Koh Samui's south-west coast. Samui lies in the Gulf of Thailand, about an hour flight, from Bangkok, or a 30-minute flight from the resort island of Phuket on Thailand's west coast.
Rooms
Beautifully decorated in traditional Thai style, the 40 guestrooms are spacious and breezy with its own private balcony. The guestrooms overlook the islands of Ang Thong Marine National Park and are facilitated with the modern amenities.
Restaurant
The onsite restaurants offer a brilliantly blended fine cuisine, served in a fresh and an elegant atmosphere against the superb aquamarine backdrop of the Gulf of Thailand. The Verandah Bar is a pleasant place to unwind with a glass of a drink, after a tiring day.
General
Facilitated with the audio-visual equipment, the conference room is an ideal place for small executive conferences and meetings for up to 50 guests. You can also workout in the well equipped gymnasium, have a refreshing dip in the pool, avail the services of the spa or indulge in playing tennis.

I believe it has one of the best views in Samui. The spa is a little different from the usual Thai massages, very unique. However, the rooms could do with some upgrading (understand from the staff Johan that it will undergo a major renovation in the coming year). The breakfast is the usual fare you get in hotels.

Very good 5star resort. Excellent service and unique view. Compared to other resorts on Ko Samui, this place has been built with enough space, so you are not bothered by your next door neighbour. Very friendly staff and good restaurant/bar. Truly amazing.

Great place, unfortuantely we were there in off season which meant all facilities where not operating everyday, especially the restaurants.

Fantastic hotel, great location. Attention to detail/cleanliness/friendly efficient service. However food & drink quite expensive compared to anywhere else on the Island. Compounded by the seclusion, so difficult to go to bars/ restaurants apart from those belonging to the hotel.
