BEST WESTERN PREMIER Sodehotel La Woluwe Brussels Hotel Guest Reviews
I used to stay in this hotel several years ago and really liked its location close to our offices. Unfortunately the hotel quality has dropped and seems to focus less on business customers and more on coach/bus parties. I understand that the hotel recently changed ownership and that may be part of the change in direction. Rooms are realtively small and there is a need for upgrades. My alarm clock did not work and the bathroom needed painted.

Very convenient for the part of Brussels we visit routinely, and we have stayed there several times. Excellent value for money, and a great breakfast. One minor quibble - mirrors in the bedroom (not just the bath) would be good.

Easy parking. Suite for three was ideal. Despite advertising for an airport shuttle and staff confirmation of same, there is no hotel shuttle to the airport on Sundays. Good thing we had a car as a back-up plan. Also no full food menu available Saturday nights, only the expensive Chinese buffet that wasn't worth it. That said, we would stay there again.

It is always a shame when the off-hand attitude of staff negates the good feelings engendered by a beautiful hotel and location. Unnecessarilly, they also seemed ashamed of their breakfast which was tucked away in a corner instead of displayed with pride.

The hotel was comfortable but the hotel was quite expensive compared to others and so I felt for the price the decor was tired and breakfast was poor. It was a breakfast self serve buffet with coffee from a machine although there was quite a lot of choice. Morning staff were not too helpful since they were talking with each other rather than helping guests. Very convenient for the hospital complex. Evening bar staff were excellent.
