BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Sant' Elena Venice Guest Reviews
This hotel doesn't look quite so smart "in the flesh" as it does on the pictures but everything is clean and comfortable, breakfast is excellent with a big choice and the staff are friendly and generally helpful. The big disadvantage is the location, which is quite pleasant and quiet but the additional long walk is very unwelcome after what is typically a very tiring day in a crowded city. Worth getting an ACTV pass just for the "commute" as the Sant'Elena stop is very close by.

One of the best hotels we stayed on our Europe trip. A very modern and clean hotel with very helpful and friendly reception staff. Good facilities including free access to computers and internet. The breakfast was great too. Lovely and quiet location, Walking distance to St Marks square in Venice.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet residential district on the Eastern fringe of Venice. Not as far from San Marco as other reviews might imply - 10 mins on the Vaporetto You would need to be monumentally lazy or impatient to consider that 'too far'. The staff were unfailingly courteous and patient. The real test of a hotel comes if you have a complaint, and in this the Sant'Elena passed with flying colours. We were assigned a very small room with a double bed on arrival - two gents. We had also needed a smokers room but [website] does not provide a facility for requesting that. We said we were not happy, but to be fair, we had arrived late - 10.30 pm, and they had no other rooms available. The next day they moved our luggage into a very nice garden room with separate beds for the rest of our stay - not very much bigger, but better laid-out for space. Not even a hint of annoyance from them. Well done, and thank you!

Charming accomadations. Good breakfast. Maybe a bit far from the sights for some but We enjoyed the peace after the crowds of Venice.
