Very cheerful staff, decent breakfast, excellent value - would recommend and return.

Lovely, clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and practical. One of our shutters didn't work on the window but we were not worried enough to complain. Great, quiet location, a short walk from the 1st district. I have stayed here about 4 or 5 times now, and every time i have been very happy with the accommodation.

Excellent hospitality, service and value-for-money. This was our sixth winter visit. The hotel is conveniently situated, being close to the 40A bus route (for the Volksoper) and D tram (for the Belvedere, Schönberg Center, Staatsoper and shopping streets, Leopold Museum etc., and out to Heiligenstadt/Nussdorf for 38A to Kahlenberg)

Despite being located outside the ring it is easy to get to the inner stadt by tram, It is a reasonable and cosy hotel but lacks some basic amenities in the bedroom like a kettle, tea & coffee.

Location: very closed to the ring (~700m) Room: clean, just a little to small for a 4 start hotel, but nice with old furniture aspect Breakfast: very very good for a cold breakfast Parking: you can park around the hotel without costs (you just need parking tickets during the week and between 9AM to 6PM). Otherwise you can choose the nearby parking public garage (around 2Eur / hour).

Pretty good location; close to public transport and there are many restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is 'cold buffet' but more than adequate. My room had french doors, giving it a 'boutique' feel. Not fully airconditoned but had good heating. I wouldn't hestiate to stay in this hotel next time I am in Vienna. I highly reccomend it.

Undoubtedly an excellent hotel for the discriminating traveller. Relatively small and off the main streets, it nevertheless is very conveniently linked by tram, bus & subway to most of the main areas of Vienna and within easy walking distance of the Volksoper, US embassy, Freud Museum, Lichtenstein Palace, Uni & Schubert's birthplace (first class concerts each week, on Fridays). A friendly, efficient service is available, with excellent buffet breakfast. This is our 5th winter visit in 7years, and for a week we consider it a 'home from home'!

The staff were wonderful, the rooms were clean and comfortable with great bathrooms. While not exactly in the centre of town, it was well located and easy to get to. I would visit again and have already recommended it to other friends.

Staff were friendly, hotel was clean and the room was good too. Problem we had was the noise as they were building next door. So if you planning to get up before 8am its fine, if you'd like a lie in i'd recommend ringing to see if the building has stopped.

Beautiful hotel with excellent front desk staff and great facilities. Breakfast was good and secure parking was 12.00 euro. Location was good - although not as central as others. 10 minute walk to central attractions. Would recommend, and would stay there again.

Good hotel, nice staff, excellent breakfast. Too bad they were building a house next to our room. Work started at 7:00 each weekday. When they have finished building, i will defenitely recommend this hotel.

We were in Vienna during the recent heat wave. We would have appreciated air conditioning or at the very least a fan or overhead fan to have been more comfortable at night especially. If we opened the windows to get fresh air the noises from traffic and people outside also did not allow us to sleep. We would not hesitate to use the Harmonie when we next visit Vienna. We will just make sure it is not in the summer.

First good thing is the location: an easy walk to the Ring it's also VERY close to the D-tram which goes round the Museum side of the Ring down to the Sudbahnhof & out to Nussdorf the other way. Staff were friendly and efficient, rooms more spacious than expected, bed comfortable. We were on the 5th floor but there are 2 lifts - ours worked fine throughout. Excellent little bathroom (sit-down bath/shower unit - odd but effective). Buffet breakfasts of good variety and size: various different rolls and rye breads, pastries, brioche, butter, cheeses, hams, salami, eggs, fruit, fruit juices, jams, honey &c. Coffee and tea both good (really hot water!) Room mini-bar prices reasonable compared to some. Note the hotel bar-restaurant only runs from about 4 - 9 pm - but there's a clutch of bars/cafes over by the D-tram stop if you need late night caffeine or alcohol. A strong recommendation - it'll be the first option we consider when visting Vienna in the future.
