The staff was very nice with helping us with directions around town. We did not know where the mall or hot spots were. Enjoyed our stay.

Our initial impression of the property was simply that it was outdated. That was not a problem. Our room, however, was HORRIBLE. Underneath the overwhelming smell of air deodorizer was the stench of a dank, mildewed carpet. There were suspicious spots on my sheets. The room furniture was in poor condition with chips. There was no operating exhaust fan in the tiny bathroom so it got very uncomfortable when we showere. The water pressure was very low in the shower. It was nearly non-existent for the hot water though. The drain was so slow that the water collected ankle deep @ my feet while I tried to clean myself in the cold trickle of water each morning. The toilet seat was dirty so I had housekeeping come as soon as we arrived. There was also a terrible smell of sewage outside our room door. If the room hadn't been prepaid i'd have canceled for sure. That was the front end of our trip. The back end, also prepaid, was MUCH better! I literally felt like I was at a different hotel. The room was clean, spacious, updated and clean! The only issue we noticed was a slight musty smell again. It's as if the carpet had been wet and never quite dried. We actually wanted to rest there after our trip abroad. The prior stay only a few days before had us wanting to do any and everything in Miami in order minimize our time there.

A condition d'avoir une voiture, sans aucun doute une excellente adresse, rapport qualité-prix. Chambre très propre et parking gratuit appréciable. Le restaurant possède un superbe emplacement sur la mer, malheureusement la carte est très pauvre et assez chère pour ce qui est proposé. Ceci dit, au total le bilan est plus que positif.

I was in Miami for a friend's baby shower and I opted to stay away from South Beach. Best Western On the Bay Inn & Marina was very convenient. It was walking distance to my friend's home and Miami Beach. The hotel's continental breakfast was good---waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, etc. The pool is a nice size and there is plenty of seating (lounge/beach chairs). The best part of this hotel is SHUCKERS!!! Great for Happy Hour and late night snacks. The drinks were good and priced well. The rooms are not that exciting BUT very comfortable. The microwave and fridge works well and so does the TV and AC. My friends and I were content seeing that we only slept and showered in the room and spent all day out. The location is great. Close to South Beach (Collins Ave, Ocean Drive area) and Miami beach is a short walk away. I would definitely come back! :-)
