Upon arriving, I noticed that the hotel is right next to the freeway. It is very loud from this room. Also, they do NOT disclose in writing the debit card hold they use. If you book 24 hours or less in advance, you cannot cancel, in which case you have no choice but to accept the LARGE debit card hold. Will not stay nor recommend this hotel to anyone. Another thing, the outside of the building was filthy. The walkways to the rooms were in disrepair, as was the elevator.

Good value. Breakfast is nice. The Block shopping outlets are just a long block away. My room -- on ground floor-- alsways has a persistent chemical smell. Is it from the swiming pool? Late check out policy needs improving. Right now: 11am is check out time, late check out without charge is 12 noon. Even if the hotels has a lot of vacant rooms, you must pay 50% of daily room rate if you stay until 2pm, and 100% if you stay until 6pm. Other hotels accomodate their guests better.

Everything was fine except there's the zooming noise from other room AC or fan which is very hard to sleep.

totally enjoyed lounging by the pool and occasionally took a cool dip in...very laid back and super vacation friendly ;) needs an honor bar for sure

This was our second stay at BW Meridian. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Lorena at the front desk was helpful with shuttle passes. We had breakfast twice outdoors in the center courtyard and enjoyed our stay. We will be back in the future!
