BEST WESTERN PLUS Gateway Inn & Suites Aurora Guest Reviews
This was the quietest motel experience I have ever had. The rooms were fully booked/sold out for most of the time we were there, yet I never heard conversation in the halls or through the walls. Also was surprised and pleased that staff was so efficient during a fully booked week. (July 2011) Breakfast was consistently well stocked and easy to get to, and breakfast, cleaning, and other staff were courteous and efficient. Rooms were clean and new looking. The location is convenient to the airport as well as most Denver attractions, such as Hammond's Candy Factory, the U.S. Mint, Wildlife Animal Sanctuary, and Adam's Mystery Playhouse just to name a few that we went to. The mountains are in view in the distance and are a lovely day's outing. We decided a few days before our trip that we wanted two rooms instead of four people in one room. They were not able to give us another non smoking room immediately because they were booked, but they did get us changed into one mid-week. The smoking rooms, even though they are clean, do stink to non-smokers. Later I did see one of the folding beds in the hall and it was a twin size; not a cot so as it turns out that option might have been as comfortable. The only (minor) concerns that I would mention were the towels are not soft, and the hot tub (not the pool) seemed to have so much chlorine in it that we smelled of it even after a couple days of showers. I would recommend this motel and I would definitely stay there again.
