I can't really say too much that's BAD about the hotel, but I really can't say anything that's really great. We had a Jacuzzi "suite", but it's not really a suite, just a little larger room. As is far too common, because it's not a suite the bathroom sink is in the same room as the shower and toilet. If you're a couple you know how much time this can add in the morning preparations. The shower was a nice sized walk in (no tub) and had good pressure and temperature, that was the high point of the room. The Jacuzzi was very loud and is also common, filled VERY slowly. The drain also wouldn't pop up to drain the water forcing us to leave it in, not a good thing to do. The breakfast was OK, typical continental fare. The bed was OK, not great, but OK. Plenty of Pillows. Other things that were common at this hotel that I see too often: If you have a Jacuzzi in room, for God's sake put in double the number of towels AT LEAST. Your guests are going to USE the facilities or they wouldn't have paid for them and that should be a no-brainer. The room was not a suite but a standard sized room with a Jacuzzi added. I know this is hard to fix when retrofitting, but come on folks at least try. The aforementioned bathroom sink in the same room as the shower. I can shave and get ready in the time it takes my lady to shower so if I can do that WHILE she's showering and doing her thing there it saves a ton of time in the mornings. Breakfast was mediocre. It's not that hard to make GREAT coffee, people. Use distilled (not tap) water and good coffee beans and people will talk about your coffee all day. If you do less they'll still talk about it but not in the way you want. Quit being so stingy with the towels! A jacuzzi is in there to be USED. Double the towels so your guests can enjoy it without re-using them. This isn't a bad place to stay. While the staff wasn't real friendly they were efficient and businesslike and took care of us, but come on, SMILE. We are your guest as well as your customers. Is a frown the way you greet friends coming to your house to stay? Most of my complaints are quite common at too many hotels and it seems to be an industry wide lack of attention to detail most of the time. The rooms were clean, well made up, and did the job, but just enough to be OK. Is that really how you want to be remembered, that you were just OK? I don't.
