Great the location was great, the staff was very nice and polite and the room was clean like it should be! The only thing I didn't like was there was no complimentary breakfast and the tv was out dated so there were no game hook ups for us to watch netflixs or play the game.

We were unsure what we were getting when booking this hotel as we were unfamiliar with the Chicago area. This ended up being perfect. Not too far from the downtown attractions, but far enough that you weren't swarmed by people 24/7. Will be staying whenever we return to Chicago.

I felt that the hotel was below par for the price. The front desk manager, an Indian fellow, was wonderful, but the staff in the breakfast buffet was horrible. They had no personality, no customer service and the worst attitudes. I have never seen such disrespect for guests and I have stayed at MANY hotels! (In fact, I used to be a general manager of a hotel). The manger at the front desk gave us a free breakfast buffet one day, but it was still unpleasant with 2 different staff members.

Location was not far from Forest Park Blue line station which takes you straight to downtown Chicago. Hotel shuttle runs 24 hrs - very accommodating! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient. I would stay here again! Price was impossible to match. We only traveled downtown and didn't venture elsewhere - but it's close to several interstates.

Overall it was a good room for a good price. Really close to downtown and the airport. Staff was friendly for the most part.

Very good hotel with excellent shuttle services to & from Airport, train station, meetings & even malls. This service alone makes it worthwhile. The shuttle drivers were great. We did not have to rent a car for our 3 nights stay. The rooms were neat and we enjoyed the shower massage too.

Hotel and room were very clean and the bed was nice and comfortable. About 14 miles from downtown, but with traffic that equates to about a 30 minute drive. Hotel is also right next to a Super Target, so if you forget/need anything, it's only a mile away. My only complaint is about the shuttle service. While it can be convenient, it can be very time consuming. Took over 20 minutes until it finally left the hotel, and both times we used it to take us back to the hotel, we waited over an hour. Aside from the shuttle service, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a horrible place to stay if you commuting to and from Chicago. We ended up leaving and didnt stay, we had to get home due to personal reasons and were beyond the deadline for refund.

Hotel was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. Very nice location with hotel transportation to blue line train straight to Navy Pier! We were disappointed in the fact that the hotel did not offer "free" continental breakfast, especially traveling with grand kids! Thanks!

Very nice hotel. Great beds! Very clean. Nice breakfast buffet. We were there for a wedding this weekend. This hotel was very conveniently located. Right off of the interstate & close to all sorts of shopping and restaurants. With the location we were able to be almost anywhere in the Chicago area within a half hour. The only things I had that I didn't like was no indoor pool and the parking spaces almost took a miracle to get in & out of on the west end of the hotel

The hotel was very clean and very comfortable. It has a nice pool, restaurant, bar, and gym. The shuttle was great but not the most convenient. That's is the worst thing I can say about this hotel. Everything else was great for a 3 star hotel.

Very clean hotel. Check-in was very good, customer service and shuttle service was very good and complete. Here is where it gets a little out of control. We were part of the storm where 600,000+ residents and businesses were out of electricity. The lights went out in the morning around 8:00 and 90% of the emergency lights did not work but the hotel staff was very respondent to get flashlights up into the hall for people to see. We left after the storm passed at around 9am and my family ventured into downtown for most of the day. We took the train and had the shuttle pick us up which was very nice. We arrived at the hotel at around 8:45pm and electricity had not yet been restored and we were told we had to vacate the hotel and they had moved us to a different hotel about 15 miles farther north by the airport. We were not consulted about the move but I understand the tough times. We were booked rooms at the airport Ramada which was a less expensive hotel and it was evident why. The rooms were very dirty, the breakfast was poor at best and the overall experience was very bad. As a result I will never stay in a Ramada hotel again if I can help it. Given everything that happened I would stay at the hillside Best Western again

My hubby and I were on a much needed vaca from So.Cal, we were booked at another place that did not work out. [...] got us a room at this Best Western, right off Hwy 290. We are convinced it was Devine intervention! This was booked at the last minute and there was even a family reunuon going on at the same time. The staff is super nice and accomidating. The room was Clean and spacious. The bathroom has no sign of mold or dirt. I love the fact that they give you the option of whether or not to reuse your towels, saving energy and money. We asked for extra cups, my husband tried to give the lady a tip and she said "No thank you, not nessacery". They have a very nice restuant. good prices, a full bar. game room. The business center & gym are fully equipped. There is a fridge, nuker, hair dryer, iron/board( you Know I did't use this) lol. in the room. there was a laundry facikity on site as well, This hotel is a great place to stay if you need to be downtown and don't know your way around. like us. The Hwy takes you straight downtown. The pool will cool you off Quick! I would deffiantly recommend this hotel to a friend/relative. We are glad we stayed here and you will be too!

excellent location. very short drive to downtown chicago. the blue metra line is about a 5-7 minute drive from the hotel. parking at the metra is 5.00 per day. there's also a super target right across the highway. this bestwestern also had a washer and dryer on the 3rd floor which was a plus. the pool was wonderful, the kids really enjoyed it. i would definitely stay here again. the hotel was clean. the staff was great and very helpful...
