BEST WESTERN PLUS Carpinteria Inn Guest Reviews
Staff courteous, room is very clean and the location is great. Overall a pleasant experience.

It was our worst hotel that we've ever stayed in in the US. We booked and prepaid our rooms two weeks a head of time and when we arrived we were checked into a room on the ground floor. We could here people walking in the room above ours and could here loud sound from the shower and toilet flush from the room above ours. The bed was totally uncomfortable and the pillow was too high. I woke up with both a back and neck ache. I advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to find other accommodation.

Got this reservation on a last minute basis, to escape the heat and spend the night by the beach, as close to Santa Barbara as we could get but not pay the SB price, especially for a Fourth of July weekend... First off, the hotel was great to look at, and the room was clean and just perfect for us, even had a little patio. Staff was courteous and helpful. Reservation went off without a hitch. Only minor gripe was that the room was still being cleaned when we arrived, well after 4:00 p.m., but wasn't a major inconvenience at all. Also, loved the location, very close to shopping, restaurants, and the main beach at Carpinteria. This was a real enjoyable weekend, and the hotel is the main reason why.

My husband and I were doing the California coast vacation and stopped here for a night. It was quick & easy to check in and out. The room was large and very clean. Overall we were thrilled with it's proximity to the PCH, and restaurants and shops. Great hotel--bang for BUCK!!

stayed 4 nights. Very well staffed. Courteous Front Desk staff. Accommodating housekeeping staff is nonintrusive and friendly. We stayed in a Quiet room on top floor. Within a few blocks of beach.(We walked the sidewalk to get there). Nice restaurant on premisis has wonderful staff that anticipated our every need but did not hover annoyingly. Great breakfast, varied selections. nice dinners as well. We have stayed before in Santa Barbara but found it pricey and loud (highway and trains, street, etc)Our room here faced the inner courtyard . We do not sleep well away from home, but we did just fine here.Staying for Westmont graduation we did not fine it was any further to the campus than if we had stayed in downtown Santa Barbara. We had also previously stayed in Goleta but found the trains loud and the distance too far from the Westmont campus. Beds were comfortable, linens were nice.
