This is a motel, not a hotel. Was able to get a double room for less then $150 for two nights so not a bad deal. Situated about 20-30 mins walk from Cairns central. Rooms were clean and the house keeping did a good job. Got AC and Fan to keep cool. Small pool in the complex but we didn't use it. We only used the room to sleep in at night so nothing to complain. Recommend to anyone who is looking for budget accommodation.

The motel is not far from the centre (15 minutes walking). It's not very expensive and it's a standard motel.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms and meticulous cleanliness. Short (walking) distance from city centre. Very respectable restaurant (don't miss the Fridays 2 for 1 steaks offer). Good price. More than I was looking for when I booked my trip to Cairns to use it as a base for exploring the region. Nothing luxurious but more than a cosy and comfortable base for a pleasant stay in the town. I would be more than happy to stay in it, if I visit the area again. (We had some problems with uncivilised guests at the room next door making noise in the early morning hours, but this has nothing to do with the hotel and I guess it can happen everywhere. However the reception is not staffed after 10pm and therefore there was nobody to take care of the problem)

excellent value for close to CDB position 10minutes casual stroll and few minutes from airport. Would be okay for longer stay, tea & coffee making facilities plus microwave. Restaurant for Dinner & Breakfast but we walked into town. Airconditioning and ceiling fans. We needed twin beds (senior ladies) which was great as hard to get this in a lot of places
