BEST WESTERN Appleby Park Hotel Birmingham Guest Reviews (5)
On check in we were shown to a twin room despite having booked two months previously. Were shown to a double room, which obviously was only used in emergencies, but was quite adequate for what we wanted.

I had a premier room which was smaller than I expected but clean and comfortable. Excellent room service, food was delicious and very good value. Very quiet at night so a good night's sleep. Only complaint was the bathroom door which was warped, difficult to open and close without making a lot of noise! All in all a pleasant and convenient place to stay in the heart of the Midlands.

Excellent way station for the East and Central Midlands. Staff helpful and made sure we were satisfied. Plenty of parking and very close to east Midlands Airport.

Don't bother with late night room service - we wanted to order 3 things off the menu, and they didn't do any of them at that time of night...fair enough, it was about 2:30am, but if they can't supply the food at any time, they shouldn't advertise the room service as 24-hour! Overall we enjoyed our stay though, the room was clean and bright and hotel staff were helpful (apart from the room service!).
