BEST WESTERN Albert Premier
3 out of 5

Staff fabulous and very helpful - spoke English. Area not as good as Opera area in Paris (saw that as we went on the on-off bus over two days). Tiny Lift. No airconditioning until October (like most hotels maybe) and small room (also like most hotels I'm guessing but a fan is supplied. Windows opened for fresh air, closed at night because of traffic noise. Ensuite included a full sized bath. Supermarket across the road and superb eating brassieres along the main road.

Location - excellent just a stone's throw away from Gard Du Nord station. Lobby - warm and welcoming Room and bathroom - clean, basic neccesary facilities, compact and pleasant. Suitable for short stay and business trip. Breakfast - attactive Reception - Isabella was excellent. Warm, patient and helpful. Makes you feel comfortable. Nadia was horrible. Needs training in customer releations most especially in communication skills with asian re; their cultural speech.

Perfectly placed for Gare du Nord - great if you have a late night/early morning Eurostar, especially thanks to the 24hr reception. Also means you are next to a Metro hub.

This was by far the worst hotel we stayed in, in our 5 weeks in Europe. Located in a down market part of Paris. We were mislead by the Best Western name. Bathroom/toilet was totally inadequate. Far too small to dress or undress in. Inernet access unavailable in foyer, (it had been out of action for a few days and was stiil not fixed during our 3 nights stay). Room reasonable size, however lift access was scary with just enough room for 2 people and luggage.

A reasonably nice hotel, just a two minute walk from Gare du Nord. Rooms were clean and well serviced, if a little small for the price.

Room was small, but location is the best near the railway station. Lift was out of order during the stay, had to bring down the luggage from 3rd floor. Reception lady was very friendly!!

This hotel has a wonderful location only a block from Gare Du Nord and great for access to trains when doing all of your travels and sight-seeing. While the rooms are shoe boxes at best with bizarre little 3 foot high shower heads, the hotel is very clean and the breakfast is wonderful. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Also central to a great 24 hour french restaurant, convenience food stores and a thrift shop/convenience market. Will consider again in the future, but may have prefered a similar hotel with a bigger room.

The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was not bad. The location was close to the Nord station. If the price is cheeper, I would stay at this hotel next time, too.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It has a great location only 100 yards or so from Gare du Nord and the metro. Despite this it was very quiet at night, due no doubt to the efficient double glazing. The rooms and public areas have recently been redecorated and are bright and pleasant. The buffet breakfast was very good and the staff helpful. The air conditioning was not working at the time of my visit, but I was told it would be on in a few weeks in time for the summer. All in all a good buy at the price.
