- The Nicholson Museum showcases antiquities, the Macleay Museum houses anthropological materials and the University Art Gallery has over 3000 works in its collection all at the University of Sydney.
- Stop in for a game or tournament at the Arena Sports Centre, the tennis courts or the Aquatic Centre. July, September and October are the prime times to catch the Australian University Games in Sydney.
- Come by the Quadrangle on a Sunday around 2pm to hear the Carillon recital for free then inspect the bells first hand by following the staircases to the top of the clock tower.
The University of Sydney is very easy to locate by public transport. Because of the size of the campus there are many routes using both train and bus. Catch the train at the Red Fern station and walk a short ten-minute stroll to the main campus. There are free buses from the library to this station. Buses from Sydney to the Quadrangle are numerous, and include the 412, 413, 436 and 438. If driving, there is ample paid parking on the campus including disabled parking spaces. Taxis are also an option if coming from the city centre or the airport.« Hide
