Getting There

Circular Quay is the central hub of Sydney; it’s often suggested as a starting point for any exploration of the city proper. Within walking distance of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, it has the only above-ground railway station on the City Circle. The only public transportation method that does not stop at Circular Quay is the Metro light rail system. You can catch many of the city buses, ferries, and railroad from here. The bus and ferry systems in particular are very extensive at the Quay, as it is the terminus for all ferries, and many bus lines.
