Getting There

Richmond is easy to reach by public transportation options in the area. Four different tram routes travel to this area of Melbourne for your convenience. The trams that service this area include 70 and 75 on Flinders Street and 109 and 48 on Collins Street. Travelling by train is another convenient way to find the neighbourhood. A station is located on Flinders Street, and the train takes about ten minutes. Another station is located at Collingwood, with the train trip taking about 15 minutes. Car traffic in this area is quite manageable, although crowds are drawn to the pubs when a football match is being played, so you will want to arrive early if driving.
