Getting There & Around

The small airport at Kununurra serves flights from Darwin, Broome, and Perth, and flying into the area is recommended unless you have a taste for serious outback adventure. QANTAS (via Airnorth) and Skywest both operate flights to Kununurra. Alternatively, Greyhound Australia offers daily bus services in the region.

The best way to explore the area is to hire a car, preferably a 4WD drive vehicle, as the roads are often treacherous during the wet season from October to April.
