The climate in Kingston is best described as temperate. The summer months experience warm and dry weather with average temperatures of about 35ºC, and winters are cool and wet with a cooler average temperature of 12 ºC; quite rarely will it reach freezing temperatures at night. The sea temperature varies slightly from 19ºC in the summer to 14ºC in the winter.
Getting There & Around
The nearest airport is in Adelaide. From the airport, it is about a four-hour drive south taking state highway B1. There is also a bus service available from Premier Stateliner that runs from Adelaide to Mount Gambier; Kingston is a stop on this service.
It is a small town, and it is possible to park your car and walk around the town easily. To reach attractions outside of town a car is required, as there is no public transportation available.« Hide
