Coolangatta, a small Gold Coast town, is a gateway to Queensland and northern New South Wales. The town shares its economy with the neighbouring city of Tweed Heads. Getting There
The Gold Coast Airport is a five minute drive away from Coolangatta Beach. You can take a taxi or use the Gold Coast Airport Shuttle service for transport to your Coolangatta resort lodge. You will also be able to take bus line 761 from the airport to this resort town. To get around the area, you can purchase a Go Card. The Go Card will allow you to ride the local buses to popular attractions within the area. There are also plenty of taxi services operating throughout the Gold Coast.
