Echuca Climate

While the best time to visit Echuca is anytime of the year, the summer months of January through March, with average temperatures of 86°F (30°C), are especially nice. The fall months of April and May, as well as the winter months of June and July, have temperatures ranging between 32°F (0°C) and 68°F (20°C). Spring temperatures (August through September) are comfortable around 50°F (10°C).

Getting There & Around

International flights fly to Melbourne Airport, although Echuca Airport does receive domestic flights. Melbourne is located 127 miles (204 km) south of town, with a rail line that makes the journey to Echuca on a regular schedule.

When in Echuca, travellers can use the Echuca-Moama Transit, which runs three services hourly to Echuca East, South and Moama. The station is located at the Old Echuca Post Office on Hare Street. Hired cars, walking and cycling can also be utilized while visiting.
