Getting There & Around
The closet international airport is in Melbourne, with frequent bus service to the island. The cheapest way to get from Melbourne Airport to Cowes is to take a bus or taxi to Southern Cross train station, and then catch a bus to the city.
Public transportation on the island is limited; there is a bus that runs a loop of the island in the heart of the summer. The network of inter-island ferries has two to four daily sailings from Melbourne to Phillip Island.
