It is nestled between Palm Cove to the north, Kewarra Beach to the south, and nearby Trinity Beach. Clifton Beach is home to white sands set amongst swaying palm trees. Getting There

Most visitors to Cairns will arrive at the Cairns International Airport. The city features a public transportation network operated by the Marlin Coast Sunbus, whose transit station is situated in the Central Business District. Visitors can access Clifton Beach by following the Captain Cook Highway and turning right after the Mobile petrol station. There are plenty of car rental agencies located within the city, including Hertz, Budget, Avis, and Europcar. Blue buses provide throughout Cairns from the Central Business District. Most of Clifton Beach can be explored on foot or with rental bicycles.
