it provided everything that was required for an enjoyable stay. Also Jan at reception was an genuine delight a truly beautiful lady, a real pleasure to deal with.

We booked a standard roomand were happy with the size and setup - well equipped kitchen, good sized bathroom, great shower with lots of hot water. The washing machine and dryer were very handy plus there was an airing rack - useful since it rained every day we were there. The pool was great, shaped like Australia, deep enough for playing around in and warm enough for swimming on wet days too, plus a very warm spa with optional jets. Not the best pool for small kids since there's no really shallow areas but brilliant for my 11 year old. Tables and chairs to sit at to keep you dry or cool too. Bus stop on the corner heading south and a 2 minute walk to one to go north, Coles 4 blocks away, beach through the back gate and across the Esplanade - good location, a little noisy in rooms on the highway side.

The resort fronts the busy Gold Coast Highway which can be a problem if you get a room on the Highway side. The room was spacious and clean but starting to show signs of age. Suited the purpose for me as a weekend business trip bed but would not want to spend my holidays here.

close to the beach old style from the eighties but overall very well maitained,pool is lovely and spa very warm,beautiful gardens

Room smelt mouldy,leak under laundry tub,stove elements rusty,only one element in oven working, cutlery and plates dirty,limited "free" foxtell channels,no spare toilet rolls, huge cockroach appeared running across kitchen floor. Staff friendly & helpful. Pool great.Star rating more like 2star.
