The best choice if you arriving the island by plane late in the afternoon. Great location and very good restaurant. I think is overpriced because the hotel rooms are a little bite old, but everywhere is overprice in Kangaroo Island.

Way over-priced for the standard offered. The hotel has the feel of standard accommodation in the Eastern Europe bloc of yore. Or worse, of accommodation in one of England's more down-market seaside resorts! The restaurant has the feel of a school canteen. The sauna was not working. The bedroom, while clean and comfortable, had paper-thin walls and a coughing, spluttering, hawking man in the room next door kept me awake most of the two nights I was there. As in the rest of Australia, there was no regard for the single traveller: you havev to pay for two people regardless. And in the case this hotel (booked on line) I would not have thought it was value for money even if there had been two of us.

We stayed in one of the rooms above the bistro area (standard double room). The room was clean but the facilities in the room were a bit too old fashion. There was no bathtub and the bathroom was very very small. It was very convenient location. The more upmarket rooms across the road from where we stayed (which is still part of Ozone) looked very new and fabulous ...we wished we stayed there instead..but overall the hotel wasn't bad. The staff were very friendly.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kingscote. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location on the seafront is ideal for the lovely scenery and handy for the local shops. We ate in the hotels Sports Bar and enjoyed a very nice meal. We were upgraded to the newer part of the hotel and these rooms were excellent, we even had a sea view which was nice.

Good situation, although have to cross main road from rooms to all other hotel facilities, including reception. Good size rooms. Food service excellant and very helpful, as my wife has to eat Gluten Free.
