Do not be put off by other comments about this hotel. It is for the most part a 4* hotel the rooms are may be 3.5 * but the service i found to be for the most part to be fault less. However be prepared to make some serious negotiation to get a bargin in Marrakech markets as the traders will ask you for at least double what you would pay in europe. Do not be affraid to walk away and always show them a little cash and then you will be happy with what you paid ( and they will still make some profit! ) The best of the cafe's on the hotel road is the Caruso Cafe just turn right after leaving the hotel and it's on the opposite side of the road about 3 minues walk. (i tried all the cafe's on the hotel road) * the Hotel food is not the best!

Not enough sun beds - hotel seemed full & everyone hunting for unattended sunbeds!!; lunch menu choice unimaginative and a lot cheaper across the road at the Gelateria.
