Good: I had an overall good stay. Good location, and very friendly staff. The breakfast was equal to that of competitors. It looked like they have been working hard to make inprovements. I would stay there again. Not so good: It took a long time for the water to get hot in the sink and shower. The balcony door did not secure completely.

When I arrived at the hotel at 2 pm I was told to come back in 45 minutes and my room would be ready. I arrived back at 3 pm and was told room was not ready, at that point I asked what time would my room be ready and what floor I would be on; the girl replied that I would be on the second floor, I told her that I have two double beds with a kitchen and that is when I was told she would have to look for another room sincemine didn't have a kitchen. I waited another 15 minutes and received room 425 with a kitchen. After unpacking and putting everything where it belonged and stocking the freezer and refrigerator with my food we went down for a swim. When we came back up I noticed that my refrigerator wasn't wo9rking properly and I call the front desk they sent someone up which took 5 hours; by then it was 9 pm; the man that came up told me that he would see on getting another one. Then next6 day was Thursday and I called the front desk and explained that my refrigetor was not keeping anything cold still and they said they would send someone up. I waited 5 hours and finally had to call again, that is when the man from last night came up and said he couldn't find another refrigerator to replace it, he told me to ask for the manager; which I then did on the phone. Tha manager came to my room within the hour and even came in and felt the refrigerator and it contents. Alot of stress was builted up by now. This was supposed to be a stress free vacation ; the manager said she was giving me another room and it would be ready in 30 minutes and she would call my room when it was ready. I also asked the manager what about all the food I spent money on and lost;that is when she said she would reimburse me for one nights stay and she would give that back to me when I checked out. We pack everything up and waited for the call. After waiting 2 hours I finally called the front desk to ask if the room was ready. I was told it was so I went downstairs and received my new room keys. My niece and I moved all our stuff to room 315 and finally everything seemed like it was working. But the day was lost to waiting all the changes. So now my vacation seemed like I was staying in a hotel just for someone to come and correct the problems at hand. In room 315 the refrigerator work great. To bad I already spent the money I had to buy food to cook and save money but now I had to go buy lunch and dinner during my stay which wasn't in the budget. It would have been nice to cook instead of going out to eat. Also the kitchens are there in the room but no silverware or pans or dishes were provided either. Then in room 315 the main bathroom toilet was broken so everytine I need to flush the toilet I need to remove the top tank cover and pull the chain. I did call down to the front desk and tell them that is when I waited another 2hours since they told me they were sending someone up. When the man came for the toilet he checked it out and said he would have to replace the handle and would be back; I told the man that I would not be here since I have wasted enough time in my room waiting for the people to come up and fix the problems. The man never came back to fix the handle. I checked out on Satruday morning and still it was not fixed. During checking out I told the front desk clerk that the manager promised to reimburse me for one night since my food was spoiled in the non working refrigerator. That is when the manager of the hotel told me that she would be sending [...]an e-mail [...] But I can tell you I cannot believe how long I had to wait for someone to come help me with the refrigerator. My vacation was supposed to be stress free and all I got was more stress.
