Front desk staff very friendly and helpful and spoke very good english and very close to main railway station (walking distance or 1 stop on U-bahn). Room was very small dark and bare appearance with thin hessian curtains that did not completely cover the window and very low watt bulbs. Ensuite was literally no bigger than a broom closet with barely any room to dry off. No remote for the tiny tv so luckily there was only 1 channel available on it so no need to change channels. No bedside lamp. Kitchen area provided but no cups or crockery or cooking equipment or kettle provided.

Front desk manager was extremely friendly and very helpful. No li ft; breakfast adequate. New and different theme/ambiance, enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel

No lighting near or around the bed, so in the midnight it is very inconvinient when you wake up. No lift--utterly bad! No change of towels, no cleaning of the room, no bed making--much worse! Just good for backpackers/students!

For a small hotel that only opened up 6 months ago, has 17 rooms, and ONE person running the whole show - We were impressed. Dennis is an awesome dude who is very friendly and eager to help and ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. Location is great... you can SEE the underground transportation from the front steps of the hotel. 2 or 3 minute walk will take you to the strassenbahns (street car). The rooms are a bit on the small side. Ours had a kitchen (stove/cabinets) we didn't use - but it was cool to have it. They also have small TVs, a closet, and a good sized refrigerator. The beds are nice and big, too~ maybe a full size, which is nice, compared to most German hotels that have barely a twin size. Cleanliness wasn't a huge issue - but could definitely be better. It's nice for a 3-4 day stay.... maybe even a week.
