Location
Only 100 metres away from the New Acropolis Museum, the Athens Gate Hotel is in the centre of all of the finest historical attractions that Athens has to offer. You can easily walk to most sites.
Rooms
All 99 rooms have a LCD television with cable, minibar, in-room safe, hair dryer, telephone, wireless high speed internet connection in both the rooms and public areas, and air conditioning.
Restaurant
There is a gorgeous rooftop garden bar, an ideal place to unwind at night with a cocktail or a glass of Greek wine while overlooking the beautiful city. There is a lobby bar and cafeteria which serves up casual food, which you can enjoy by the fireplace in the lobby.

Athens Gate Hotel Guest Reviews
I booked this hotel on a deal and it turned out to be amazing. It was centrally located (right across from Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Zues), the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were plentiful. The rooftop restaurant offered amazing views of the sites and was reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again. Only small complaint would be that the room smelled a bit like smoke despite being a non-smoking room.

Excellent. Staff were great, extremely helpful. Very clean rooms. Location is perfect for walking around. You are right in the Plaka area. Acropolis two minute walk away.

The location and service from the desk staff added to the value of this hotel. It's within easy walking distance of the Acropolis and the Plaka. Friendly staff at the desk provided helpful advice. Room with a stunning view of the Temple of Zeus ruins.

The location near the Plaka and the beautiful view from the rooftop and from the rooms situated at the front, make the Athens Gate Hotel a fine place to stay. The staff are very friendly. I will stay there again, when visting Athens and will also recommend it to friends and family. It is worth booking on internet; the price difference with booking a room at the spot is quite big!

The location of the hotel is great! It is on the border of Plaka and it is close to all the historical sites. I had great time.
