The Athena Hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, in the city's university area, with easy access to the historical centre. Close to the railway stations of Termini and Tiburtina, Athena is a fine hotel, superbly located in the centre of Rome.

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful and the hotel is great value. Highly recommended for the budget-minded traveler who also wants comfort and a nice experience.

A good alternative if you do not require to live very close to the main attractions. The service was very good with early brakfast before an early pick-up for a sight-seeing trip, and there were non-smoking rooms.

Very easy to reach but you should look at the city map before arrival (bus 310 from Termini; bus stop is 50m away) or Metro B/Bologna, ca.800m) Pz.Bologna is also start of bus 62; nice for travelling to the city (change to bus 64 at Pz.Venezia or Torre Argentina to go directly to the Pz. San Pietro)
