The situation is perfect for any visit in Madrid. But the hotel hasn't been renovated for 20 or 30 years

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Otherwise it is very old & tired needing paint, taps fixed and general upgrade of everything

A very central hotel location which was perfect for us - close to the centre of the city and the plaza and eating / transportation. We would definitely return. The room was clean and tidy with a balcony outside to a relatively quite street - an inspired choice taking into account value for money.

Hotel had no record of our reservation. Rooms had no air-conditioning and it appeared to have only one small lift which everyone was trying to use at the same time.

Interior seems quite used but the room size and especially the location makes up for that. Sound proof is very good. Extra elevator was available when the main one broke down. Room and bathroom can be used by a wheelchair user if accompanied by an able-bodied person. Generally - very happy with the hotel.
