The location and view are the main selling points. The apartments are spacious and clean, but the kitchens could maybe do with some new equipment, particularly because the people who will book a condominium property like this over one of the other many hotels on offer at Waikiki will probably be - like us - looking for a place with a good kitchen. But this is only a minor suggestion about a great place to stay.

Our room wasn't available upon check-in, so we had to wait an hour or so, but we are in Waikiki, so that wasn't a problem. We had a room on the 8th floor for the first night, but requested a higher room. The next day we were given a room on the 19th floor for the duration of our stay. The staff were very accommodating. The new room was less modern than the first room, but the higher up you are, the better the view and that's what we wanted, so the mod-con of the room was not on our radar. This hotel is wonderful as far as location is concerned: close to Diamond Head, walking distance to everything on Waikiki beach, zoo, etc. plus if you get a car, you're close enough to the freeway that you can get anywhere on the island you need to go. Other than a minor issue with one of their valets (which is free, by the way), this was a perfect hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Beach Tower! Quiet and great for families. Great location. Close to restaurants, shopping, beach, trolley stops, and St. Augustine by the Sea Catholic Church. Entire staff was friendly and always helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will definitely stay there again if we ever return to Waikiki.
