Location
Set amidst the southwest of the city in the Takayama highlands, the Associa is 640 metres above the sea level and is surrounded by deep forests and tall mountains. This property is 5 kilometres away from the city centre as well as Takayama Train Station.

Very modern, great vlews, especially from the onsen, b.it far from town but regular free shuttle operates. Roomy rooms

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Associa Takayama. It was a very elegant hotel. The staff were very attentive. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of fresh and tasty produce. The meals we had in the very pleasant Scenery lounge were very good. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean. We had a lovely view from our room.

Very beautiful hotel with great servcice and wonderful food. The Onsen (spa) was fabulous. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. Thank you!

The Associa is a sparkling clean, beautiful hotel with nice view and several levels of hot springs. Everything, including the food, was first rate. The only downside is the location, perched atop a hill, somewhat away from the main part of town. The hotel does provide an half hourly and hourly shuttle to the train station, however.

Cant recommend this hotel enough! We had a very enjoyable stay here - the spa facilities were particularly excellent. The staff were very helpful and all the hotel services and facilities were also excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. It was the best value for money of everywhere we stayed in Japan.
