Situated at the bottom of the uphill "ramp", it's more practical when you have kids and much luggage than to stay up in the town centre (which is all ups and downs anyway). The ramp takes you 15 minutes max to climb, and it's good exercise! The view from the rooms and balconies is excellent, as was the breakfast!

Good Hotel once you have established it's location and discovered the ease of the local bus service to reach the old town, otherwise it is a steep walk or an expensive taxi. The hotel is easily reached from the train station by a regular bus service

Hotel is on the foot of Assisi. Walking to town involves a 15min rather steep walk. Very quiet in a park, lots of parking space. Very recommendable.
