Asia Beach Hotel Pattaya
2 out of 5

I last stayed at the Asia Pattaya some 11 years ago, and not much has changed since then except the colour of the exterior. While the rooms were comfortable enough, and the staff were very accommodating in allowing some extra family members to stay at the last minute, the whole place is beginning to look rather dated. Breakfast was cold, and expensive at 300 baht. On the other hand, the pool was clean and the seafood restaurant was good, if somewhat expensive (we fed twice the number of people for half the price a few km away in Jomtien). Local surroundings are OK, enough bars and places to eat which mean you don't have to go into downtown Pattaya if you don't want to. The private beach was nice, clean, fairly safe for kids and not too many hawkers bothering you every 5 minutes.

Great beach location most impressive. Hotel lacking many facilities like business center. Too far away from activities must always take taxi for dinner etc

We stayed at Asia pattaya for 3 nights. The AC was not working fine and even after complains it did not work. The swimming pool was not clean. They have a small beach which they call a private beach , but there were no facilities like water sports, beach beds, games etc. The location from the main beach is very far and this we could not enjoy the hot spots of Pattaya. like the walking street, beach road, The hotel also denied sending plates and sppons to our room as they said it was agianst the hotel policy. The rooms are old and need maintenence and renovation.

The place is slightly older than the picture and the location is quite isolated from the city (Taxi is needed and it might be a challenge to bargain for a reasonable price). However, it has its own private beach and the seaview is breathtaking. Thus, suitable for those who are happy to stay in the hotel and enjoy lying down at the sundeck bed, with a beer on one hand, storybook on the other, and the backdrop of a nice seaview. Swimming pool is good as well. Thai massage is also available at reasonable price at the pavilion near the swimming pool

Resort hotel outside of the main town and you need to use taxis to get there. Not many restaurants nearby the hotel. Great pool area and nice access to the sea.

A fairly good beach; nice pool and spacious rooms. Generally a good atmosphere; good location and the seafood restaurant was excellent in food and price, as well as service.

Our stay even though short has been a memorable one at Asia Pattaya. The sea view from the hotel was excellent and the serenity of the place is worth mentioning. At the given price this hotel is highly recommended.

A little out of the way from the main strip. Need to take a taxi everywhere... that's another experience. It is in a lovely location if you just want a very relaxing holiday and away form the bright lights of the main strip. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Room service is a bit expensive ... 80 bahts for a glass of milk!! Overall good value for money.

The hotel was generally nice, but lacks some minor amenities which are irksome - like no remote control on TV!

Asia Pattaya hotel is a very nice hotel. The hotel in on the hill that is around 10km away from the town but it is excellent for a peace vocation especially for the family with childen. The facilities include a nice swimming pool, a beautiful garden and a private beach. Some restaurtants are on the beach providing a good food. I guess the high floor rooms has better facilities then low floor rooms because I can found Japanese brand TV with remote control in my room.

We felt the hotel was very "tired". We were disappointed that the hotel did not match the reviews that we had seen on the internet and the photographs did not reflect the reality. The bedroom had deposits of grime around the light switches and there were hairballs on the floor. The bath did not drain as the plug was stuck. The light beside the bed did not work. The TV reception was really poor quality. The breakfast food was really low standard both of quality and variety and we had dirty table cloths both at dinner and at breakfast. The internet was not available (we had to use the cafe over the road).

The beach was really filthy: litter and debris of all sorts on the morning''s tide. We left after only one night instead of the two we had planned and checked into another hotel for our last night. The one good feature was the friendly Thai staff but they could not overcome the other features of the hotel which made us leave.

If you are looking for a quite relaxing place just out of town, but at the beach with no road between, you have a good place here. One of the best breakfast buffets we ever had at a reasonable price (included), pool better than expected, TV 5x THAI, 1xBBC, they are renovating a second third of the hotel, little noise at daytime, we recommend Asia Pattaya Hotel.

The hotel is very nice. We have enjoyed the view from our window. The breakfast buffet was inexpensive and very good. We would recommend it to friends.
