older motel in a good location. electric jug but no toaster or microwave.

Aftr having read the reviews for this Motor Inn I wanted to cancel my booking but ohhh too late, I was unable to get a refund so reluctantly along I went. from the time that I arrived to the time that I left I was very impressed with the service I received. The lad on the reception desk was very efficent with a warm friendly manner. The rooms are clean as was the linen and bedding. If I have to have a whinge about anything it would be that the rooms are very small but hey what could I expect for the moeny that I paid. I also had a meal in the restaurant, the T-Bone steaks we had were just superb and the service from the waiter was better then I have had in some 5* places so for all you folks who reviewed this Motor Inn as being the worst you have stayed in I say you either got them on a bad day or you expect 5* service but only want to pay budget prices., I would use this Motor Inn again and recommend it to all those looking for Budget accommodation

All in all, it's not too bad a place to stay in however, the motel needs to have some twin rooms available too.

Truly dreadful. Horrible orange-red peeling painted wallpaper, curtains thick with dust, no renovations since the early eighties, and the bathroom sink was in the bedroom. The $30 (2 x $15) breakfast consisted of barely toasted bread in paper bags (no plates provided), condiments, juice, and a cereal choice of weetbix or cornflakes. No option for soy milk, and the hot breakfasts sounded too revolting to try. In room coffee and tea making facilities were also appalling: one demitasse size cup and one mug, neither of which fit the tiny saucers, and golden chain el cheapo brand tea and coffee sachets. I have photos to back all this up. The most positve thing I can say is the reverse aircon kept us warm. Did I mention this was the deluxe room with a queen sized bed?

We had stayed before so new what to expect rooms had been upgraded since last time - this is an older style motel that has nice clean, comfortable rooms, it is reasonably priced, is well located for what we wanted, was quite & the staff were friendly - we'll definately go back
