The Aryaduta Hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were all very courteous and the service was excellent. I wasn't very impressed with the breakfast buffet, admittedly, but the dinner buffet was very good. I would highly recommend trying the "Mixed Ice" for dessert for travellers that have not tried such a thing. The hotel pool was great, but the jaccuzzi was never hot whenever I tested it. Not sure what the deal was. I didn't get a chance to try their spa, but they did have a good selection of massages at reasonable prices. The 2 things that I did not like about this hotel are the view from the rooms at the back of the hotel (you get a lovely view of slums beside a trash-riddled river), and the fact that internet was extremely overpriced. It is cheaper to use the internet at the business center, I believe, but it is about $0.40USD/min from the room up to $15.00USD/day. Laundry services are also extremely expensive. Overall I enjoyed staying at the Aryaduta.

This hotel has seen better times!! From the 11 floor on rooms are renovated and in good conditions. Below you only find 3star standard. Reasonable prices and kind staff.

This is a fine hotel that desperately needs renovation of the standard hotel rooms. The service and staff attitude is excellent, the restaurant serves a great breakfast buffet, the bread is the best in Jakarta and the warmth of lots of wood and complementary colours, plus nice furnishings make the hotel a great place to stay. Renovation has begun but guests may consider upgrading to the next higher room type to avoid the lousy air conditioning and old worn carpets that make the standard rooms correspond to a lower grade hotel.

Rooms small and run down. Staff attitude was good. I will not choose this hotel next time.

Hotel in a good location but lacked interesting restaurants & leisure facilities. Fairly good value for money for a couple to stay, especially as its inclusive of a fairly good breakfast. I only discovered the Tavern restaurant on the night before I left - there was no info on all the facilities available! I enjoyed the meal & good music provided by the ever so friendly band. That was the best part of my stay in the hotel!
