Perfect choice of location , unlimited dining and coffee shops every where, close to Pharan market, where freshness was a new meaning, no problem for staff to help all customers. And not far from CBD, will come back.

Can you ever book a cheaper deal without a glitch. We got a lovely room with a disabled bathroom. It was an anniversary celebration and we were disappointed. I would recommend the hotel, but ensure they ask about the type of accommodation before they go. Also, the TV was at the side of the bed. The positioning of the bed in room 805 was obviously to take into account the positioning of the artwork, but not really comfy to lay in bed and watch TV sideways.

Some of the staff in your restaurant (morning breakfast) I found to be arrogant. Orders taken and not delivered in a timely manner. A basic order of a pot of tea didn't arrive because the one person behind the bar was too busy making a variety of coffees. No one mentioned that freshly squeezed orange juice wasn't included in the continental breakfast (I've never stayed in a high quality hotel and had to pay separately for this#. Basic pastries #croissant) were already gone by the time I got to breakfast at approx 945am!!!

If you're looking for top quality in all aspects at a very reasonable price, look no further! The room, staff and restaurant are just the beginning of great quality & a very enjoyable stay we had at The Olsen. The proximity to shopping, transport & other great eating places were also a highlight. We'll definitely be back :)

When we arrived to the hotel, staff helped us from the taxi and with our bags. We then were able to go to our room earlier as it was ready. Our room was a studio suite, some have said it was small but I thought it was fine for a couple. Room was clean and bathroom was also. We had breakfast everyday from the restaurant downstairs....10/10 place to eat and drink! Great service! We spent one of the mornings in the Day Spa... we loved it. A must do if you stay there. Room had great heating; as it was very cold when we stayed and bed was very comfortable. Great Hotel, will stay again next time I am in Melbourne. Staff were great and very helpful. Only thing I would say you could improve is a bigger bathroom basin. I found I had to have all my cosmetics on the floor cause it was quite small.
