Great hotel - very comfortable, with fantastic facilities. Staff are very engaging. Great food in the Tapas bar downstairs - guys stayed open for us on the first night after our late checking in.

Lovely plush room with quality finishings and complimentary items. We stayed here for New Year's Eve this year when we wanted to hide out, absolutely lovely night. Really close to the tram line for easy access to the CDB. Plush bathroom robes and towels and beautifully soft linen and comfy bed.

All rooms at the Blackman have self-catering facility making it an excellent choice if you want an opportunity to for independence during your stay. The rooms are generous in size with high quality appointments. What the hotel lacks in extras such a concierge or swimming pool it makes up for with bucket loads of style and home comforts when away from home. There is also an excellent bistro and cafe next to the hotel if you wish to dine out. Hotel about 2.5 km from CBD is connected by numerous trams or on a sunny day it’s a pleasant walk to the centre.

From check in to check out, we were impressed. Reasonable bar fridge prices too! Bed was comfortable and huge, room was spacious and loved the artwork. Great French cafe downstairs. All in all - a 5 star experience.
