Ariston Hotel Rome Guest Reviews (5)
Walking distance to the Colosseum, Metro and railway terminal. But the room service was real bad. When I had to head back to rest due to a flu, the room was not even tidied. It was 4pm. So the trash was not cleared, not even til the next day's afternoon. Upon check out, we gave a bigger note to the lady and apologised for not having small change, she told us she had no change either! So she instructed one of us to wait at the lobby, gave my partner instructions to get to the nearest bank to queue up and hopefully change the note to smaller ones. If not, she suggested we buy something first before coming back to pay the city tax etc. What a disppointing way to end the trip in a beautiful country.

I had booked the "single economy room": A good choice taken into account that hotel rooms in Rome are expensive. Expect a small room but with a reasonably sized bathroom. The mattress was rather bad though. Breakfast was good (ask for espresso coffee which they make for you in the kitchen).

Very nice Hotel situated on a not very nice neighborhood. It is extremely close to the train station , but on a street that doesn’t look so good. The staff is very friendly, they made me feel safe and welcomed, I had to leave very early in the morning (around 4:30am) to catch a bus at the train station, I was very concerned with the surroundings but it was all fine. I would stay there again.
